HOW NICE OF YOU TO COME BYE!! We are located in northern lower Michigan, not the North Pole as the pictures above might suggest. In the winter, our area is referred to as the "snow belt" as we measure our annual snowfall in feet rather than inches. In the summer, many people describe our area as "God's country" with our pristine lakes, streams, forests and Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore. Our love affair with Border Collies started 16 years ago. We appreciate the incredible intelligence and versatility of this breed. We nurture in our dogs, those skills or "jobs" that they as individuals excel at and most importantly, what they consider to be fun. Therefore, we participate in a variety of dog activities including conformation, agility, obedience, therapy dog visits with Hospice and the local nursing home, as well as some unique "sports" that we have created at home!! On occasion, we foster border collies for BC rescue organizations and assist them in finding forever homes.
